Admission procedure
Candidates wishing to apply to TNPU please:
1. Send an email to International Relations Office at istud@tnpu.edu.ua with:
A. copy of international passport;
B. document of the previously acquired educational (educational-qualifying) level on the basis of which the admission is made with transcript;
C. consent to processing of personal data.
2. After sending the package of the above document you will get the detailed instructions. Please follow these instructions and an official Invitation Letter for studying at TNPU will be sent to you. The Invitation Letter should be submitted to the Embassy of Ukraine in your country for the purpose of receiving a student visa.
3. After obtaining the student visa you must inform the International Relations Office of TNPU about the exact date of your arrival to Ukraine and your flight number.
4. Upon your arrival at Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University you should submit the Application Pack to the International Relations Office, and then you will be invited for an interview.
Application Package (to be submitted to the International Relations Office personally):
1) a document (the original and its copy) of the previously acquired educational (educational-qualifying) level on the basis of which the admission is made (it must be certified in the country of their issue in a manner officially applied in that country for such certification) + 2 copies of its notarized translation into Ukrainian;
2) the addendum (the original and its copy) to the document on the previously
acquired educational (educational-qualifying) level on the basis of which the
admission is made (if any) + 2 copies of its notarized translation into Ukrainian;
3) a copy of the passport of a foreigner or a document certifying the identity of
a person without citizenship + 2 copies of its notarized translation into Ukrainian;
4) a legalized health certificate issued by an official health authority of the country from which the foreigner arrived and issued no later than two months before entering Ukraine (original) + notarized translation into Ukrainian language. If the term of stay in Ukraine at the time of submission of documents exceeds 6 months, then the medical certificate (form 086-o) is additionally submitted;
5) a legalized document on the absence of HIV infection (original) + notarized translation into Ukrainian (unless otherwise provided by international treaties of Ukraine);
6) 6 photographs in the size of 30 x 40 mm + 4 photographs in the size of 35 x 45 mm (matte);
7) insurance for at least 1 year.
Additionally for PhD program applicants:
8) a research proposal on a chosen scientific specialty or a list of published scientific works and inventions in the Ukrainian or English language, certified in the established procedure at the place of work/training of the candidate, shall be submitted additionally at the entrance to the postgraduate study program.
5. The admission procedure will be completed after you sign an Agreement with the University and pay your tuition fee for the 1st year of study.
