The Youth Affairs Department is a structural unit of the university responsible for working with the student community.

The department operates in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, regulatory acts of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Statute of Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University, the University's internal regulations, and directives issued by the rector.

The department is headed by the Director of the Youth Affairs Department, who reports directly to the First Vice-Rector.

• Enhancing the effectiveness of youth engagement and integrating educational activities with the academic process and pedagogical practices.
• Introducing innovative methodologies in the educational and training process aimed at fostering student development.
• Monitoring current challenges in the student environment and preparing timely measures to address them.
• Developing recommendations for the strategic planning of youth-related activities at the university.
• Planning, monitoring, and evaluating youth-focused initiatives and their outcomes.
• Coordinating efforts related to student engagement at the university level, as well as within faculties, departments, and among academic advisors.
• Summarizing, analyzing, and promoting best practices in youth work across faculties, departments, and academic advisors.
• Implementing resolutions from the rectorate and the Academic Council of TNPU regarding youth activities.
• Leveraging modern scientific and technological advancements to improve youth engagement initiatives.
