• modeling of electrical circuits with computer equipment and their analysis.

Electronic educational and methodical complexes, used in all disciplines, enable students to individually study the lecture material, laboratory and practical tasks, and to exercise the self-control of their knowledge.

Physical laboratories function at the Department, where experiments on basic physical constants and laws are conducted.

Scientific and methodical work
The scientists of the Department work on the development of important research problems:

  • Electro physical, opto-mechanical properties of semiconductors, metal alloys and structural materials;
  • Ways and methods of improving the training of physics teachers.

Students’ research and scientific work is conducted in the problem solving groups, student design bureau, and creative workshop on teaching physics. The research results are used in course and master works, and in the process of students’ individual work.

Scientific groups:
1. Innovative technologies in the process of studying physics.
2. New technologies of teaching physics and astronomy in secondary and higher school.
3. STEM-technologies in the process of studying physics.
4. Use of Web-technologies in studying physics.
5. Creative physical workshop.
6. Topical issues of teaching physics.
7. Student Design Bureau.
8. Design of educational process of physics.

One of the innovative directions of scientific research of the Department teachers is the involvement of students and postgraduates in the implementation of scientific projects in practice:

  • Introduction of e-learning technologies in higher and secondary education institutions;
  • Use of electronic courses in the educational process, development of interactive educational materials;
  • Design and implementation of laboratory facilities using modern information technologies, microcontrollers and computer technology.
  • Development and implementation of means of distance learning control and analysis.

The teachers of the Department cooperate with numerous scientific institutions:
