The Tasks and Functions of the Center
The Tasks of the Center:
- ensuring the functioning and development of the internal quality assurance system of higher education at the University, its continuous improvement;
- organization of licensing of specialties and accreditation of educational programs of the University, ensuring interaction between TNPU, NAQA, and State Service of Education Quality of Ukraine (SSEQ);
- development of regulatory and and organizational and methodological documents on the assurance of higher education quality, licensing and accreditation, professional development of scientific and pedagogical workers;
- organization of monitoring of the educational process quality, rating of scientific and pedagogical workers, assessment of educational programs quality;
- coordination and organizational support of facilitating the employment of University graduates.
The Functions of the Center:
- Organization and control over the implementation of the institutional model of internal quality assurance;
- Establishing effective interaction with state and departmental authorities on the issues of the functioning of the University's quality management system (Ministry of Education and Science, NAQA, SSEQ, etc.)
- Organization and conduct of research on the analysis of the quality of education in TNPU, educational programs, conditions of the educational process and professional development of university lecturers.
- Preparation of analytical materials on the results of monitoring the quality of educational activities.
- Presentation of the results of the monitoring of education quality, rating assessment of scientific and pedagogical workers at the meetings of the administration, Scientific Council, scientific and methodological council of the University, scientific and methodological commissions of faculties.
- Coordination of the activities of structural units of the University to implement the strategy and objectives of the University in the field of quality assurance of educational services and professional development of scientific and pedagogical workers.
- Internal audit of educational programs for compliance with state standards and established requirements.
- Monitoring of regulatory documents on quality assurance in higher education, professional development of scientific and pedagogical workers, and prompt informing of management and structural units;
- Updating information on regulatory and methodological support for the quality of education on the University website.
- Organization and holding of meetings and seminars on quality management of educational activities, licensing and accreditation, professional development of scientific and pedagogical workers.
- Monitoring the level of qualification of scientific and pedagogical workers in order to identify the need for its increase in accordance with the current legislation and the Licensing Terms.
- Development of accreditation schedules for educational programs and professional development programs of scientific and pedagogical workers, coordination of their implementation.
- Informational, advisory and practical assistance to structural units and guarantors of educational programs in the preparation of documents and accreditation procedures of educational programs.
- Preparation and submission to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine of registration cards and the register of doctors (candidates), professors (associate professors), scientific and pedagogical workers, maintaining a database of scientific and pedagogical workers in a single state electronic database on education.
- Coordination of interaction of faculties, departments with employment centers, employers and enterprises on the issues of graduates’ employment;
- Interaction with local departments of education and science, educational institutions in order to send TNPU graduates to work in pedagogical specialties.
- Participation in international projects and writing grant applications for educational process quality improvement.
- Preparation of proposals to improve the quality of educational services and employment of graduates.
