The main idea of the project is to identify potential leaders in change in Ukrainian universities, who are in middle positions in the academic hierarchy and are ready to take responsibility for the modernization of Ukrainian higher education. These people will be provided with high-quality training on the creation and implementation of modern interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary, intersectoral educational and educational-scientific programs in the practice of Ukrainian higher education, study of Polish experience in implementing and designing strategic development programs of Ukrainian universities, assistance in the creation of useful and perspective contacts, implementation of innovative micro-projects in their higher education institutions and university centers, joining the community of project participants.

Objective: to train two groups of academic leaders who are willing and able to implement modern interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary, intersectoral educational and educational-scientific programs in the practice of Ukrainian higher education (October 7-31, 2019, Group I), focused on studying the Polish experience and design strategic development programs of Ukrainian universities (November 4 - 29, 2019, Group J) and provides intensive training in Ukraine and Poland and the preparation and implementation of relevant individual micro-projects.

at the previous stage, the All-Ukrainian competition of applicants for participation in the project (the competition commission includes co-organizers of the project from Poland and Ukraine).

at the first stage (in Poland - Warsaw and Krakiw) training (2 weeks) on the relevant modules, and after it finished, a series of consultations and individualized meetings (2 weeks) with representatives of academic management, teaching staff, public administration, research institutions , foundations, non-governmental organizations, mass and social media and other stakeholders in the framework of the module.

At the second stage (in Ukraine), project participants with the help of Polish and Ukrainian consultants prepare micro-projects (both individual and group) to improve the work of their universities, academic centers, or even the entire higher education system of Ukraine in selected directions.

Phase V: "Interdisciplinarity and intersectoral and university development strategies".

Terms of implementation of the V phase: July 2019 - June 2020.

The result of the project is the presentation of prepared microprojects and their proposal to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Union of University Rectors, own universities at the final conference in May-June 2020 (examples of presentations of previous phases can be found on the website of the International Charitable Foundation "International Foundation for Educational Policy Research" (http://www.edupolicy.org.ua)
